M551 Sheridan - the tank that was used in Vietnam. Technically an Armored Airborne Reconnaissance Assault Vehicle, it could be dropped from a C-130. And it could swim.
Its gun was somewhat unconventional, as it used the MGM-51 Shillelagh gun-launched missile fired through a 152mm rifled barrel. It could also fire 152mm caseless cannon rounds, but their use knocked out the missile's delicate firing system.
Armored with aluminum plates, it was not a very durable vehicle. RPGs and mined could easily destroy it.
